18 Vulnerabilities Found in Foscam C2 and Opticam i5 IP Cameras

Researchers of Finnish cybersecurity firm, F-Secure, recently discovered 18 vulnerabilities within Foscam C2 and Opticam i5 IP cameras including hidden hardcoded credentials, Telnet functionality, and remote command injection flaws, among others. If exploited, these vulnerabilities could allow for unauthorized remote access to the device and persistent network compromise. The NJCCIC recommends owners and operators of vulnerable Foscam C2 and Opticam i5 IP cameras review F-Secure’s report and consider decommissioning affected devices.
